NAVA KARIMI

Chair

Nava is a grade 11 student at Heritage Woods Secondary School and is thrilled to be the chair of SOCHUM at the very first TFMUN! Nava is extremely excited to meet the delegates and share her love of discussing international issues. Since her very first meeting at her school’s MUN club, Nava discovered she had a hidden love for it. When she isn’t engaging in riveting debates, you can find Nava listening to music, doing last minute homework, catching up on missed sleep, volunteering, and trying out new hobbies like photography, painting, and baking which she always ends up failing at. Nava is looking forward to a day of fun, thought-provoking, engrossing debate that she hopes all delegates enjoy. See you there!

DANELLE ANDERSON

Assistant Director

Danelle is a grade 11-student attending Heritage Woods Secondary and is extremely honoured to be serving as the assistant director of SOCHUM for the preliminary TFMUN. After attending her first lunchtime Model UN meeting, Danelle fell in love with the fruitful debate and international affairs that MUN consists of and hopes to spark a similar passion in you all. Outside of Model UN, Danelle can be found binging random Netflix series, attempting to play her newest interest, the piano, procrastinating hours of homework, and skating around on thin blades with a large stick, attempting to put a small circle into a small net or better known as playing hockey. Danelle is overly excited to see the passionate debate that will come from this committee and looks forward to seeing you all there.
